Professor Dr. Alfred Dierlamm specialises in white collar crime, fiscal offences, offences regarding accounting law, internal investigations and compliance trainings. A special focus is the legal representation of auditors and auditing companies in professional supervisory proceedings at Chamber of Auditors (WPK) or Abschlussprüferaufsichtsstelle (APAS), proceedings before the Court of Professional Conduct as well as criminal investigations.

After his studies, he worked as an academic assistant at the chair of criminal law at the University of Trier, then held by Professor Dr Krey. In 1993 he obtained his doctor’s degree on a subject of the law of criminal procedure. Alfred Dierlamm started his career as a lawyer in 1994, specialising in white collar crime in the law firm Redeker Sellner Dahs in Bonn. 1999 he set up practice as self-employed lawyer in Wiesbaden.

Alfred Dierlamm is professor of the University of Trier for commercial criminal law and law regarding fiscal offences. Another focus of his research is criminal law regarding property. Furthermore he is an examiner for the German State examination in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Alfred Dierlamm is member of the criminal law committee of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer), the Criminal Law Section of the German Bar Association, the Association of German Defence Lawyers e. V. and of the Association of Hessian Defence Lawyers e.V. He is member of the board of directors (Verwaltungsrat) at the German Institute for Compliance – DICO e.V. and member of the advisory board of senior experts at Versicherungsgemeinschaft für Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer (VSW).

Alfred Dierlamm acts as an expert of Legal Committee of the German Parliament (Rechtsausschuss des Deutschen Bundestages). Furthermore he is an ombudsman for numerous well-known enterprises.
