Thomas Weissinger specialises in the fields of white collar crime, media criminal law, Internet/IT criminal law, copyright criminal law, criminal law concerning data protection and general criminal law. He studied law at the University of Trier from 2009 to 2015 with a major on German and International tax law.
From 2015 to 2017 he went into practical legal training within the district of the Higher Regional Court Koblenz. In this period, he worked at the respected law firm Diesel | Schmitt | Ammer in Trier, where he focused mainly on criminal law.
Upon his admission as a lawyer, Thomas Weissinger joined the law firm KÖNIG Rechtsanwälte in Trier in July 2017.
In August 2018 he joined the law firm DIERLAMM Rechtsanwälte as an associate.
Thomas Weissinger is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the German Bar Association, the Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung e.V. (WisteV) and the Association of German Defence Lawyers e.V.
