Ute Bottmann primarily specialises in the fields of white collar crime, medical criminal law as well as capital markets criminal law. She studied law at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University in Mainz and completed her practical legal training within the district of the Higher Regional Court Koblenz, with optional stages in, among others, Beverly Hills.
During her practical legal training she passed the Certificate of Proficiency of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the area of “English for Business", and participated in the American Law Introductory Courses at the Elisabeth-Selbert Akademie Saarbrücken. Upon admission to the bar in 1994, Ute Bottmann started her criminal law oriented legal career at the law firm Dres. Wasserburg & Urschbach in Mainz.
In 2002 she joined the partnership Kern Preis Zindel in Wiesbaden. Due to the increasing complexity of the commercial criminal law mandates Ute Bottmann joined the law firm DIERLAMM Rechtsanwälte as a partner in 2010. Ute Bottmann is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the German Bar Association and of the Association of Hessian Defence Lawyers e.V.
