Attorney-at-Law Dr. Carolin Weyand studied law at the Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel from 1997 until 2002. After her studies she did a doctorate on criminal law at the chair of criminal law, of Prof. Dr. Hellmann, University of Potsdam.  Concurrent with her dissertation, Carolin Weyand was assigned a lectureship at the Law Faculty of the University of Potsdam, where she held lectures on criminal law. Thereafter she completed her practical legal training within the district of the Court of Appeal Berlin from 2004 until 2006.

Already during her practical legal training, Carolin Weyand worked in renowned law firms specialising exclusively in criminal law, both in Munich and Hamburg. Upon her admission as a lawyer in November 2007, she joined the law firm as an associate. In December 2010, the Board of the Chamber of Lawyers Frankfurt/Main granted her the right to use the title Accredited Specialist for Criminal Law. Carolin Weyand exclusively specialises in criminal law. She focuses on the fields of white collar crime, fiscal offences and general criminal law.

Dr. Carolin Weyand is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the German Bar Association, the Association of German Defence Law­yers e.V. and member of the board of the Association of Hessian Defence Lawyers e.V.
